Thomas K. "Tommy" Willard, age 78, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 11, 1946 to the late Sherman Willard and Dorothy Shuck. Tommy was a proud United States Air Force veteran. He worked for Humana Data Processing for 33 years. Tommy was also an avid UK fan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lindora B. Willard, his son, Jason Thomas Willard, his brother Stanley Willard, and his sister Louise Rogers.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandye Willard; sisters, Yvonne Bruner and Tola Stevens; sister-in-laws, Rebecca Banta and Pamela Pridemore; a host of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and a great-great-niece, with a great-great-nephew on the way; and his beloved furry companion, Loki.
Tommy was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. A man of faith, Tommy was a Deacon at Saint Matthews Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Tommy's honor will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday morning at the funeral home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Tunnel to Towers, Hosparus, or Kentucky Humane Society.
