Thomas E. Kennedy

Thomas E. Kennedy, 70, of Louisville, passed away October 10, 2019. He was known by many as “Tight Eyes” and “Pie”. He was a retired conductor for CSX and had also worked for Jefferson Special Police. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Kentucky Bikers Association, National Street Rod Association, National Rifle Association, and was a volunteer fireman for the Edgewood Fire Department. He loved fishing, NASCAR, hot rods, sports, his dog Lincoln, and his family.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Fred and Allie Kennedy; and his mother, Mary Pruitt Kennedy.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Donna Staats Kennedy; sons, Shaun Kennedy(Lindsay Reynolds) and Jason Kennedy(Michelle); and his grandchildren, Joe, Amanda, Jonathan, Malia, and Kristina.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Memorial visitation will be 10am-2pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the Veterans Administration.
