Born to the late John T. and Thelma Watts Baumgardner, he is also preceded in passing by his sister Doris Thompson. Here to carry on his memory is his devoted wife of 55 years, Lana Baumgardner; his sons Bryan and David Baumgardner; sister Phyllis Moran (Doug); and his adoring six grandchildren.
Tom graduated from Dupont Manual High School in 1961, going on to graduate from Western Kentucky University with a Master’s degree. He worked as a Medical Technologist at Baptist East Hospital for 40 years, as well as becoming the owner and broker of Prestige Realty Company.
A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:30 am – 11:00 am at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a funeral service in Tom’s honor beginning immediately at 11:00 am. Tom will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
