Thomas H. Lurie

Thomas H. Lurie, 66, of Louisville passed away Monday, May 10, 2010. He was a 48 year employee of Kindred Hospital, formerly St. Anthony's Hospital in the Housekeeping Department. Thomas attended Fern Creek United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by two of his children, Michael Lynn Lurie and Amanda Sue Lurie; his father, Reuben Lurie; brother, Robert Lurie and sister, Sue Ellen Lurie.

Survivors include his wife of forty one years, Wilma Stoker Lurie; son, David Lurie; mother, Vida Faith Lurie; three sisters, Libby Castleman, Twila Grivicic and Deborah Lurie; four grandchildren, Madison Lurie, Trace Lurie, Danielle Bagshaw and Patrick Willis.

Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon Thursday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady Russman and Sons Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak Street. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Memorial gifts may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, Kosair Charities or Home of the innocents.
