He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was Diana’s Knight in Shining Armour. She could always depend on his support and love.
His pride and joy were his loving daughter, Heather, and beloved grandsons, Beckett and Beau, whom he spoiled lovingly and incessantly. He and Diana cherished the countless, beautiful moments with them at their home, during holidays and ball games.
Tim attended Parkwood Elementary, Wilson Middle School, and Jeffersonville High School, where he was a friend to many and a bright student.
He worked at Clarksville Seafood, Bi-Co Transfer Station, and was also, along with Diana, the proud owner and operator of Clark Floyd Disposal, A-American Roll-Off and A-KOPP Truck Sales. He was a brilliant businessman, who provided valuable jobs and services to the community. Tim treated his employees, customers, and business contacts with kindness and respect, always considering them his friends. If you knew him, you would know that Tim loved motorcycles and the feeling of freedom. A drag racer in his youth, he traded the rockets for Harley Davidsons later in life. He loved his cinnamon rolls with “extra, extra icing” and Honey Creme donuts.
What people will remember most about Tim, however, was his hilarious sense of humor. He was ALWAYS the life of the party. He loved pulling pranks and was so skillful at it he could even get you with the same prank twice if you weren’t careful.
He was a kind and gentle soul helping his family and friends throughout his life. His humor, smile, and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Please remember him with a smile.
Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Kopp, and his in-laws, George and Dottie Osborne, brother-in-law, Larry Osborne, and niece, Katrina Osborne.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-five years, Diana Kopp, their daughter, Heather (Nate), and beloved grandchildren, Beckett and Beau.
He is also survived by his father, Donald Kopp, brothers, Richard (Janet), Michael (Terri), Andy (Christine), and sister, Peggy Blanken.
He was also a kind and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.
