She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Jessie Scearce Sr.; sister Mary Johnson; brother Matt Wayne Scearce.
Survivors include her husband Michael F. Hardy; daughter Denise Scearce; sisters Janice Gentry (George), Amanda Scearce, Beverly Scearce; brothers James Scearce Jr., Ronnie Scearce (Connie), Joe Scearce(Stephanie), and Wallace Scearce (Loutreshia).
