Vickie Lynn Vaughn, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away surrounded by her children on July 17th, 2025. She was met at the gates of heaven by her beloved son Aaron, parents Dorothy and Hubert Armes and William Beasley, sister Gena Armes, grandparents and many more family, pets and friends.
She was the former office manager at Days Inn Louisville Central were she made many lifetime friends. She loved cooking, baking, crafting and making jewelry. Some of her most favorite times were co-coordinating the Jefferson Hill Farm Jamborees and supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. She loved her dogs dearly and was an avid UK basketball fan.
She is survived by her fur babies Nalla and Bella; daughters Stephanie Williams (Patrick) and Heather Vaughn; son Andrew Vaughn; grandchildren Dylan, Walynn and Nathan; and many more family and friends including her former caretaker Beverly Frank.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 25th at 1:00pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
