Mom, been thinking of you today as Crys, Emmy, and I had planned to go to the fair but rain caused us to postpone.  Brought back memories of our trips and Ehrlers ice cream ——ugly lamps—- fish tanks etc.   and Roy still didn’t want to go .  Love and miss you!

Ma,
You have been so heavy on my mind and my heart lately. I saw you in a dream last night.  I miss your smile, your laugh, even you putting your cold hands on my face! You would have loved how beautiful the trees have been. You probably have a better view than any of us, tho. I love you. Emmy. 

Thursday we, Pat, Steve, Roy, and I went to Cheddars.....had their rolls and talked about how much you liked them.  They need you for their plants too..  Leaves are turning brown on the ends.  Road by your house....didn't see anyone anywhere.  Love you and miss you....

Mom,    Pat, Steve, Roy and I went to one of your favorite places to eat to celebrate your birthday yesterday...we went to Cheddars and ordered extra croissants.  Enjoyed reminiscing but sure missed you.  Emily put a picture of you, her, Zac, and Eric at my house when we celebrated your 92 birthday.....Roy and I went on a little trip last week....kinda like you and Dad used to do....taking back roads where possible.  When I can figure out how to do it, I will put on pictures of some flowers that I know you would like. .love you, Mom!

What a wonderful lady she was....Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Mom always liked to work the last piece of a puzzle......I like to think Dad has saved the last piece and he was just waiting for her to put it in place.....

Aunt Viola and Uncle Johnny were so good to us when we were growing up. I remember the many times Donna or I or both of us would spend a week in summer with your family in L'ville. We always enjoyed that so much; playing, going to Iroquois Park, shopping at Arlen's, going swimming at the neighborhood pool, and of course helping pick and break green beans from Aunt Lola's garden. The first waffle I ever had was one Aunt Lola made for us girls when we spent the night at their house. I remember that it was delicious! I especially remember that Aunt Viola was always smiling, always had the radio on, loved her flowers, and loved keeping her house neat and clean as a pin. The thing I appreciated the most was the fact that if Aunt Viola went shopping and bought tennis shoes for her girls, she would also buy a pair for me and Donna, or any other piece of clothing....she didn't forget us and I will never forget that! Rest in peace Aunt Viola....you are with Uncle Johnny now.......when you see my parents, uncles, aunts, etc, please tell them how much I love and miss them!

The service was lovely today. Yesterday my brother Mark made brownies just like Ma made and told me he licked the bowl batter too! Thank You so much for everyone that came. For the food and Adam for cleaning the driveway so this old lady didn't fall down. Love Always

Words can not express how much I will miss Ma.  i know the person I am today has been largely influenced by her.  So many great traits and characteristics she passed on to our  family.  I can't think of one single negative influence...well maybe my fondness for a particular word that starts with s and ends with t.  I actually think she passed that on to quite a few members in our family.  Over the last few days as I have thought about the great loss our family has suffered I realized just how much she has been the center of our family.  The true strength of this remarkable lady continues to amaze me.  I thought about the three daughters she left behind and realized that she passed that strength and love of family on to each of them.  I only hope that on the day I meet my maker I can stand before him and know I am the same strong, loving and caring type of person my mother, grandmother and aunts are.

My prayers are with you all. I can't think of 1 particular memory. I just remember growing up with Aunt Viola and Uncle Johnny around. Great people, wonderful family. We love you all.

Bonnie,   Always loved coming to your house with aunt Mertie  to visit.  She was such a sweet lady,   U will miss her so much.  Wish I could come,  don't  know about the weather?  Love U  an  will keep your family in my Prayers.

Ma,
If you wanted Ma that would play jacks on the floor with you,  If you wanted a Ma that would let you take the stuff out of the kitchen downstairs to play store, you were it. If you needed someone to "itch" your back you were it. Play crazy 8,s or watch our story General Hospital and still have dinner for Pop when he got home. Flowers.. Birds ....Even deer and dogs and maybe even a little bit kittens you loved. Always the children. So glad you got to enjoy your children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren. When I was a kid a thought everyone had a family like mine. Play, do corn or beans or jelly. I know now how lucky I have been. Some people have it and thrown it away. Mom always says you are HERO. You are mine to as are Aunt Wanda,Aunt Pat and MOM. My Mom is my Hero and Emmy is always so very stong. LOVE YOU ALL

I just found  the slide presentation in honor of your Mom. Thank you and the family for sharing  so many happy memories.  She quite obviously enjoyed her family so much..
