

Bud served proudly in WWII in the U.S. Navy. He served on the USS Hermitage (AP54), and received many ribbons including the American Aria Ribbon, Victory Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Ribbon, and Asiatic Pacific Ribbon.
He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local 89, serving as Union Steward for many years. He also served as an Elected Representative to the Teamsters at the National Convention.
Bud retired from Western Trucking Company/Budig Trucking.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, member of the American Legion and Boys Town, and was an avid UK Fan.
Bud also got his GED at age 80.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Raye Brady; his parents; his sister; 1 grandchild.
Bud is survived by his 5 children, Buddy Brady, Becky Raley (Alan), Karen Fisher, Mike Brady (Shellie), and Cindy Cahalan; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren; also including Molly B. and her daughter, Thia.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 10am on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Saturday and from 2-8pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
