He was born on August 30, 1947, in Tyler, Texas, the son of the late Walter Lloyd Cole, Sr. and Hellen Mildred (Powers) Cole.
Lloyd served as an Organist and Choir Master for over 50 years, with the last 28 years being at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Louisville. He was an avid supporter of the Louisville Arts, enjoying shows, concerts, performances and galas often. Lloyd traveled the world and enjoyed sampling the cuisines and cultures abroad. His affinity for fine foods and wine was unmatched, and he enjoyed creating and replicating many menus at home for his family and friends. Most of all, Lloyd selflessly loved and supported his birth and created families who will all miss him dearly.
Survivors include his husband, Carl Enoch; two children, Justin Cole (Sarah Corrado) and Elizabeth Cole Janners (Erik Janners); and three grandchildren, Connor Cole, Sophia Cole and Grace Janners.
