Walter Thomas "Tommy" Hill, age 67, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. He was an Army veteran, a member of Southeast Christian Church, retired contractor, pilot, fisherman, and a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Susan Hill; sisters, Sherry Hopkins and Christine Avery; and brother, J.R. Hill. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debbie Hill; sons, Troy Bennett(Allison), Kyle Bennett(Nicole), and Brent Bennett(Megan); grandchildren, Devyn, Chris, Schyler, Sierrah, Kylie, Kameron, Kaleb, Hailey, Hunter, Harper, Brock, and Hadley; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Claudia, Anna, Jackie, Dawn-Marie, and Therese; brother, Tony; nephews, Jamie Hill and Chris Hopkins; and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
