He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. A member of the German-American Club since 1954, he was a master wood craftsman and outdoorsman.
His survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Gerda; daughters, Dorothea Muller, Inge (Mike) Williams, and Heidi Sanner; grandsons, Travis (Traci) Williams and Derek (Heather) Williams; granddaughters, Ingrid (J.P.) Budlong and Erika (Phillip) Nair; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Gertrud Kiewald; his hunting buddy, Bill Mitchell; and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2013 from 3:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Okolona.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Hosparus.
