Judy,we were not aware of Walt's passing. I spoke with him at funeral home when Mom died,but didn't realize he was that ill. I found this out when I called Betty Ann. Wished she would have told Dodie and me (Patsy) when this happened. We are so sorry for your loss. We always have great memories of the times we had together when we were young. Take care of yourself. We love you! Cousin,s Patsy and Dodie and families.

To my Best Friend!

We met as kids, running barefoot in the grass, putting on plays in our garage and telling tall tales. You were known as “Butchy” and I was “Tony”. As we grew and changed, so did our names, Butchy became Walt and Tony became Jesse but our friendship stayed the same, it never aged.  It was a “low maintenance” (your term,) friendship that endured for over 62 years. We could go for years and not see one another but as soon as we were together it was as though time had stood still. People are lucky if they have at least one lifetime friend. Because of you Walt, I consider myself very lucky. 

Walt, as I am sure you know (you were always so smart), Quantum physics has a term called “entanglement” when two particles are intertwined in such a way that an effect on one particle will cause an instantaneous response on the other, no matter how far apart. This past weekend I experienced a sudden and profound unexplained sadness, a feeling of loss. Now I know why! 

The last time we saw one another was 25 years ago…or… was it just the other day?

I worked with Walt in Building 5 and also played golf with him in the GE league.  He was a great guy and will be missed.

I worked with Walt at GE in Building 5.  We worked for engineering in the accelerated life testing labs.  I learned a lot from Walt and the others I met while there.  He was a good man, and I will not forget him.

The world has lost a good man.  I grew up with this family and they are an awesome family.  He took me in as a teenager and treated me just like his other own daughters.  Liz, Net, Robert, Tony and Pam...  I am so sorry for your loss.  Rest in peace Dad

Peter and Tina, Love Always,  Walt was always there for my family no matter what.  When I would come in town with the kids, he always tolerated us.  Judy and Walt  would always stay up and play UNO or Yathzee while I went to bed.  He took Ben under his wings and showed him the in's and out's of golf.  Walt and I had our moments.  I thought of them as family love moments!  One of the biggest moments between him and I was when he let me THROW some stuff away!  I will miss him.  Love Tina
