

Walter is preceded in death by twin babies, son, Walter Lee Wiseman Jr. and daughter, Deana Gayle Wiseman. Along with his father, Ellet Wiseman; mother, Lorine Shaffer Wiseman; brother, Billy Warren Wiseman; sister, Edna Ann Jones; sisters -in-law, Margaret Wiseman and Becky Wiseman; and his niece, Alma Mae Wiseman. Walter is also preceded by the love of his life, his wife, Patricia Ann Wiseman. She went home to be with the Lord and decorate Walter’s mansion on October 15, 2015, they were married 66 years.
Walter is survived by two daughters, Annette Adkins of Ashville, NC and Sonja Leigh Atwell of Hardyville, KY and her husband, Bruce Atwell. He is also survived by one brother, Robert Wiseman of Palm Bay, Fl; and six grandchildren, Korina Adkins of Arizona, Jennifer Payne of Hardyville and her husband, Jeff, Brett Atwell of Hardyville, Chole Atwell of Hardyville, Jerrika Atwell of Hardyville, and Timothy Jordan Atwell of Hardyville. There is also great grandchildren, Julie Payne of Hardyville, and Samuel Payne and Amber Rutherford of Hardyville. Walter also has many nieces and nephews that loved, respected and enjoyed a long relationship with their uncle Walt. A few that helped take care of him and Patty are Alyce, Debbie, Kimmie, Carla Leigh, Michael Robert, Arnie and Danny. We will not forget the many not named and great longtime friends that have called and cried with us. Walter was a very very special man.
Pallbearers are Brett Atwell, Jordan Atwell, Jeff Payne, Michael Wiseman, Jason Townsend, Robert Wiseman, Arnie Brown and Danny Marks.
The family wishes to give a heartfelt thank you to his longtime caregivers that went way above and beyond with love and care; Dawn Smith, Sharon Srygler and Teressa Srygler.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 10:30am to 12pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. The service will begin at 12pm on Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
