She was a Paralegal for the managing partners of Bele-Stopher and Graves law firm. Memberships include, Southeast Christian Church and Livestrong. Wanda bravely fought breast cancer for 20 months, inspiring all those around her at Livestrong where she was very active, and close with her fellow cancer survivors.
Her huge heart, giant sparkling smile, twinkling green eyes, infectious laugh, and sharp wit, touched everyone she met.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Rick Burns; parents, George W. Kaelin (Millie) and Jean Butler; daughter, Jamie Nemith; step daughter, Brooke Anderson Burns.
A service to celebrate the life of Wanda will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Sunday and from 11:00 am until time of service on Monday.
