Wanda was retired from Churchill Downs after 52 years of service, and also retired from AutoTrader after 16 years of service. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Drucilla Jacobs; and her siblings, Nicky Jacobs, Jack Jacobs and his wife, Lois, and Kitty Jacobs. She is survived by her daughters, Dona Kerger and Jacki Rose(Robert); sister, Penny Beard(Danny); grandchildren, Courtney Kerger, Katie Kerger(Kevin), Rashea Rose, Robert Rose, Rachaelan Rose, Jonathon Rose(Amber), and Jesse Rose; great-grandchildren, Emerson Rose, Stryker Rose, Sawyer Rose, Kayden Jones, Cadence Jones, Demylah Rose, Callie Rose, and Kendrick Woodard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-2pm at the funeral home. Donations in Wanda's memory can be made to Eastern Star.
