Calfee, Weldon 85 passed away October 31, 2016. Weldon was born December 6, 1930 in Blackey, KY to the late George and Ritter Calfee. He was one of twelve children. Weldon retired from GE after 30 years of work. Weldon had a great sense of humor and was liked by all he met.
Weldon is preceded in death by his first wife Rosa Pearl Calfee, grandson Weldon L. Calfee III and nine siblings. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Carolyn Wolz, sons Weldon “Rick” Calfee (Berarena), Mike Calfee (Cheryl), David Calfee and Mark Calfee, grandchildren Angie, Nichole, Kristina, Christian, Adrianna, Michael, Tiffany, Emma and Ryan, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Weldon is also survived by two brothers Jack and Mack Calfee and step children Gary Lashley (Cheryl), Joann Eckmann (Chuck), Tim Lashley and Chris Lashley.
A service to honor the life of Weldon will be held Saturday at 10am in the chapel of Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
