He was born October 5, 1927 in Lebanon, KY, the son of Hubert and Gayle (Moore) Burdette. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother (Thomas), and sister (Jean Moore).
William was a U.S. Army Veteran and had worked as a Machinist at Pillsbury for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Burdette; two sons, William “Bill” and Chris Burdette; two granddaughters, Samantha and Chrystal.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00AM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park, with burial to follow. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd.
