He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Bertha Jenks, a sister, Janis Jenks and a son, Kevin Andrew Jenks.
Bill is survived by his wife, Betty Wilson Jenks, his children, Alan Jenks (Lori), LeAnn Colwell (Tom), daughter-in-law, Cheryl Jenks, step-son, Jason McElroy (Missye), Grandchildren, Matthew Colwell, David Colwell, Kelsey Smetanin, Claire Koch, Daniel Colwell, Alana Jenks, Lexie McElroy and Rachel Colwell.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown RD. Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the funeral home chapel, with visitation starting after 9am the day of the funeral. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
