William "Bill" Edward McCain

William "Bill" Edward McCain, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on October 29, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late John Edward McCain (Geraldine) and Mary Lanham (Bobby), Bill was a beacon of kindness and humor to all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Tammy McCain; his children, Jessica McCain and Steven McCain (Victoria); and his adored grandchildren; MaKayla, Remington, and Easton. His life was a testament to the importance of family and friends, which remained his greatest joy.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Bill will remember him for his unwavering kindness and his ability to light up a room with his humor. He had a passion for fishing, feeling the wind on his face riding his motorcycle, and nurturing his beloved garden. Bill's love for line dancing, shooting pool, and singing karaoke will also be remembered by many as the mark of a man who knew how to embrace every moment. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A visitation for Bill will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on May 4, 2025 from 11AM to 8PM. May 5, 2025 will begin with more visitation from 10AM to 12PM with a funeral to follow at 12PM in the funeral home chapel. Bill will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
