

William H. Minton, 81, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a retired painting contractor, former employee of K & I Railroad and retired flea market dealer specializing in Derby memorabilia. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Katherine T. Minton (Bunny). Mr. Minton leaves to cherish his memory, children, Angela J. Walker, William J. Minton (Karen) and Theresa A. Evans (Bob). Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. William is also survived by his faithful friend and companion, Rocky.
We would like to thank our daughter, Theresa Evans for her two years of care giving. We would also like to thank Dr. Sharma and the team at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, Shanda, Marlene, Ernie and all the 2nd floor chemo nurses. A celebration of William’s life funeral mass will be conducted 10 am Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, Kentucky 40291-1909(502) 239-5481 with interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8pm Monday, November 12, 2012 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
