He is survived by his wife of 53 years Diana Lynn Norris. His two children; Denise and Will, his son-in-law Chuck, and daughter-in-law Rebecca. He enjoyed four grandchildren; Pamela, Willie, Garret, and Alyssa, 4 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; Azalea, Christopher, Kaitlyn, and Anthony.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Holt, father Carl Norris, and his three older sisters; Gene, Carleen, and Phyllis, as well as many more beloved family members.
Denny was a Marine Corp Veteran who served two tours of combat in Vietnam. He was a dedicated public servant for several years for the city of Louisville, and a committed Teamster.
Denny was an avid animal lover, a hilarious practical joker, and loving family man. He lived for laughter and his family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday March 11, 2022 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206. Visitation will be Thursday March 10, 2022 from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Cave Hill Cemetery after the funeral service.
