

William David Walker, 71, of Louisville, died on Monday, November 19, 2012 with his beloved wife of 44 years by his side at Hosparus of Louisville. David served in the United States Army. Mr. Walker retired from Brown Sprinkler Corporation and was a member of the Sprinkler Fitter’s Union Local 669. He was an avid fisherman, UK basketball enthusiast, and devoted grandfather. David was a communicant of St. Therese Church. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Leonard and Thelma Walker, and most recently by his beloved dog Brutus.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Loretta Cox; seven children, Norman (Dana) of Louisville, Darryl (Dawn) of Jeffersonville, IN, Tina Perry (Steve) of Bardstown, Amanda Murnane (Jack) of Pearl Harbor, HI, James (Nicole) of Louisville, Mary Pis (George) of Louisville, William (Karen) of Louisville; two sisters, Rita Copping (Bob) of The Villages, FL; Peggy Williams (David) of Louisville; 21 grandchildren, Norman, Dustin, Megan, Sarah, Jessica, Amber, Darryl, Shelby, Makenzie, Steven, Olivia, Byron, Liam, Leonard, Gabriel, Madeline, Mason, Zaria, William, Charlie David and Isabella Shin; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A mass to celebrate David’s life will held at 11:00 am Saturday by Father Roy Stiles at St. Therese Catholic Church, 1010 Schiller Ave. with interment at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 pm Friday at Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons, 1201 E. Oak St.
