She was born August 15, 1923 near Rumsey, KY the daughter of Leslie E. and Pauline Bowling Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Pershing Norris.
Yvonne was an accomplished artist and was involved in many art classes over the years.
Survivors include her two sons, Ken Norris (Helen) of Union, KY and James Michael Norris (Marjorie) of Iverness, IL; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Yvonne’s life will be held from 3-5 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2015, with services beginning at 5 PM, at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Inurnment will take place privately at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of customary expressions, donations may be given to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
