Anne Marie Kobus

Born on February 17, 1971, in Norwood, Massachusetts, Anne was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of many. She grew up in Pueblo West, CO and had lived in the Ft Collins area for the last 20+ years.

Anne was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Russell, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Her nurturing nature extended to all those around her. She was a cherished "mom figure" to many, always ready with love, support, and a listening ear. Her artistic talent shone through in everything she did, from creative projects with her nephew, Steven, to her passion for animals, especially her adored puppies.

A person who truly enjoyed nature and the outdoors, Anne found happiness in the beauty of Cape Cod and the calming presence of lighthouses. In her youth spending hours at the beach building sandcastles and swimming with her sisters. Later, she found peace in visiting the Colorado foothills, local lakes and reservoirs. She had a playful spirit and loved gathering with friends and family to play games, creating lasting memories filled with laughter.

Professionally, Anne had a long career in customer service, where her warmth and dedication made a lasting impression on both colleagues and customers alike. She was also known as a great bargain shopper, always on the lookout for the best deals. She received her AA in Medical Billing and Coding from IBMC in May, 2015.

Anne is survived by her son Russell Kobus and her sisters, Terry (Ken Fox, nephew Steve Fox); Missy Kobus (Tadd Baker). She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lucy Kobus.

Anne's legacy is one of love, creativity, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where we will share stories, laughter, and the memories that made Anne so special.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice in Anne's honor, reflecting her lifelong love for animals.
