Barbara Jean Riehl-Overmyer

Barbara was raised in Big Thompson Canyon but later lived in Thorton for 31 years until she moved to Loveland where she made it her home for the last 22 years of her life. She later met Bill Overmyer who became her husband and lifelong partner until he passed away in 2018.

Barbara loved many things including her family and friends, working in her yard with her garden and flowers, enjoying music, and having get togethers with family, friends, and music. She truly loved people as there was never a stranger she did not know. Most of all she loved her faith which was being a believer in Jesus Christ.

Barbara’s memories are left to be cherished by her son, Douglas E. (Marta Pamela) Henderson ; daughter, Debra Menzor; brother, James Henderson; step-daughters (Bill’s daughters), Abby and Jodie; step-sons (Bill’s sons), Allan and Richard; grandchildren, Angel Grindel, Kyle(Jonelle) Sophy, Tamara Henderson, and Katy Henderson; great-grandchildren, Kaidence Sophy, Molly Grindel, Caleb Grindel, Jaxen Grindel, Tyton Grindel, Sloan Curtis, Wiley Curtis, and Adalynn Grindel; nephews, Jamie Henderson, Troy Henderson, Jody Henderson, and John McKlosky; and great-nephew, Jeremiah Moore.

Alongside her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Bill; sisters; Janet Moore, June Nagel, and Joy Wagner, brother Junior Henderson; grandson Eric Grindel, great-grandson Nicolas Grindel, niece Susie Moore, and nephew Frank Moore.
