

Dale Sebring, born June 18, 1937, in Boone, Iowa, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Colorado while in hospice care following a lengthy illness. He was the son of Frank B. Sebring and Mary L. Parrish Sebring.
Dale graduated from Boone High School in 1955 and married Marcharene Luella Harrington, that same year. He proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1954 to 1957, where he earned recognition as a sharpshooter.
In 1961, Dale and Marcharene moved from Boone, Iowa, to the Denver area of Colorado before settling in Longmont in 1966, where together they raised their eight children. Dale worked in retail sales and later owned several tire stores throughout the years, building a reputation as a hardworking and dependable businessman.
Dale found great joy in the outdoors and cherished fishing, hunting, gardening, and watching old westerns. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and especially enjoyed gathering there to watch Denver Broncos games. He treasured returning to Iowa for family reunions, mushroom hunting with his siblings, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Vogl of Brenham, Texas; Carla Christler (Steve) of Loveland, Colorado; Rebecca Pasillas (Lee) of Firestone, Colorado; and Susan Coburn of Castle Rock, Colorado. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Siegler of Pensacola, Florida; Mary Ellen Hubby (Darrel) of Story City, Iowa; Janice Carlson of Ankeny, Iowa; and Nancy Carpenter (Ray) of Boone, Iowa.
Dale also leaves behind 16 grandchildren: Brandi Vogl, Brent Vogl, Michelle Allen, Eric Olmstead, Chris Nicoletti, Brendan Ferguson, Nastashia Stromberg, Isidore Chavez, Roxanna Chavez, Nicholas Sebring, Nathan Sebring, Nicole Sebring, Bryce Sebring, Megan Sebring, Hannah Coburn, and Cameron Coburn; along with 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Randal Sebring, Michael Sebring, and Daniel Sebring; his daughter, Brenda Sebring Nicoletti; his parents, Frank and Mary Sebring; and his siblings, Richard Sebring, Phyllis George, Jerry Sebring, Charles Sebring, and David Sebring.
Dale’s warmth, humor, and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
