Debra Ann Sorensen

Debra Ann Sorensen, 63, a longtime resident of Loveland, CO passed away on August 31, 2018. Deb was born on December 30, 1954 in Greybull, Wyoming to Neil and Carolyn (Duran) Wolf. She graduated from Sheridan High School and became a Registered Nurse at Front Range Community College. She married Art Sorensen on May 26, 1984 and lived in Loveland, CO where they raised their children. Deb was a beloved daughter and cared for her parents in their later years.

Deb enjoyed working at many different medical facilities as an RN. She will be remembered for her excellent cooking skills and making holidays festive and fun. She enjoyed being a homeroom mom at B.F. Kitchen Elementary School and a Sunday school teacher at First Christian Church. Deb loved her dogs, gardening, crafting, reading history novels, watching movie classics, and spending time with her grandchildren. She always brightened up the room with the ability to make everyone laugh.

Deb is survived by her husband, Art Sorensen of Loveland, CO; son, Rock Armstrong of Cedar Rapids, IA;

daughters, Codi Armstrong of Loveland, CO and Jessica (Kevin) Hoke of Nunn, CO; brother, Sid Wolf of Littleton, CO; sister, Lynn Stuntz of Loveland, CO; and five grandchildren, Jaxon, Jacob and Esmie Armstrong of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Gracie and Fischer Marker of Loveland, CO.

Deb is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stanley Wolf.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Deb’s Memory to Larimer County Humane Society. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
