Grayson's last weeks of life were spent riding roller coasters in Missouri while traveling with his grandma, Cathi, who graciously offered her time so that he could practice traveling independently, and gleefully forcing Reagan and his parents to ride even more roller coasters at Six Flags, New Jersey.
His entire life, Grayson aspired to bigger and better, be it magic tricks, long-distance running, biking, rock climbing, amusement parks, or skydiving. Any other activity, in his opinion, was a severe failure to live his "best, most fulfilling life."
For the past three years, he had been living semi-independently at Scenic View Academy in Provo, Utah, an exceptional program designed to teach essential life skills to autistic young adults. When asked his opinion about being autistic, Grayson simply replied, "I like it. It just feels normal."
Grayson is survived by his loving family - his parents: Arin and Corey, his siblings: Caleb, Rylee, Jacob, and Reagan, his grandparents Wayne and Cathi Aigaki and Lilla Hatfield, his aunts and uncles: Jenna and Beau, Dani and Kent, Joetta and Dave, and Justin, along with many beloved cousins, extended family members, and devoted friends.
Trisagion will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Saint Spyridon Orthodox Church, 807 W 29th St, Loveland, CO. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM, also at Saint Spyridon. Makaria will follow. Grayson will be laid to rest privately by his family.
