

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce Jeffrey “Jeff” Lawrence Wagonmaker has passed away after a heart-breaking battle with ALS, Saturday, January 17th, surrounded by his family in Loveland, Colorado. He was 61 years of age.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Rodney Wagonmaker. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Wagonmaker, step-mother Shelby Wagonmaker, his loving wife, Christel, sisters Sheri Masters, Joanna Wagonmaker, Kristi (Matt) Jacobs, Leesa Rosenbaum, and brother Chip (Ann) Rosenbaum. Jeff was a committed father to Kory (Chelsey) Wagonmaker, Jeremy Wagonmaker, and Sydnie (Brexton) Butcher and a supportive grandfather to Maddyx and Sienna Wagonmaker, and Briggs and Baylynn Butcher. In addition to countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jeff attended Lakeshore High School in Stevensville, MI. He played football and ran track, which led him to breaking many school records. He also spent time training to bike Europe, using that famous line to pick up his wife. Jeff lived a life full of hard work, sacrifice, joy and integrity.
Jeff was a dedicated employee of JBS for almost 25 years and impacted both co-workers and clients, creating long lasting friendships. With his kind heart, love for the Lord and overwhelming compassion, his family called him the glue that brought them all together.
Jeff loved coaching sports throughout his life, impacting many. He spent countless nights on the field or in the gym. Whether it was playing, coaching or watching, Jeff was passionate about sports. He was an avid fan of the Lions and University of Michigan. GO BLUE!
He was a self-proclaimed, “Best Card Player in the World” who enjoyed cooking and hosting for family and friends and singing off key to the BeeGees while smoking an occasional “gar” and enjoying a toddy on the deck. He was an impressive man that loved to live a simple, rewarding life.
Jeff’s family invites all who knew him to attend his Celebration of Life. It will be held at B3 Mariana Butte Golf Course, Loveland, CO from 2-5pm, Saturday, January 24th. Let’s raise a glass in honor of Jeff’s strength, courage and memories.
