John Dennis Horn

John was raised on the family farm and ranch in Horseshoe Bend, NE, attended McGrew School and graduated from Minatare High School. He left a brief but promising career at Martin Lockheed designing rockets to return to the family farm which he managed until the 1990s when he semi-retired. Throughout his life John never lost his love for fixing and restoring vehicles. John owned and operated his own body shop, and wrecker and towing service using a tow truck he built.

John was a kind and caring man and family was his reason for being. He was met at Heaven’s gates by his beloved daughter Jeri, his parents, 3 brothers, and his sister.

He leaves behind daughters Cheri Boettger (Deane) of Jacksonville, FL, and Michele Horn of Loveland, CO, grandchildren Wesley Feil of Wellington, CO, Anthony Feil (Jacque) of Windsor, CO, Timothy Feil of Wellington, CO, Torey Kiefer (Kevin) of Ft. Collins, CO, Jillian Feil of Wellington, CO, Briana Vance (Joe) of Deerfield Beach, FL, and Andrea Thomas (Stephen) of Las Vegas, NV, one brother, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Services will be held June 4th, starting at 10am with a Rosary, Funeral Rites will begin at 11am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1730 W. 12th St., Loveland, CO 80537. Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery, 301 Walnut St., Windsor, CO 80550, followed by a reception at the Allnutt Funeral – Hunter Chapel, 2100 N Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 80537.
