

Linda was born on October 2, 1946, in Cheyenne, WY to Royal and Betty (Kubista) Montague. Growing up in Cheyenne, she graduated from Central High School in 1965. She and Leonard Couch married and had three children. After her young family moved to Colorado, Linda spent 25 years working various jobs with Albertson’s, where she met and married Terry Wood. Following her retirement from Albertson’s, Linda became a certified home health care provider and obtained her LPN license. Linda and Terry moved to Albuquerque, NM, where Linda was active as a home health nurse and enjoyed taking care of her clients.
Following their relocation back to Colorado, Linda relished her time crafting, quilting, camping and fishing with Terry and their dog, Gypsy. She loved sharing time and stories with her family and friends. Her big laugh, boisterous personality and presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Wood, three children, one stepson, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one stepson.
Linda was cremated and a private ceremony was held for family. Her final interment service will take place at a later time.
