

Margaret Ames Miales, 57, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on September 11, 2025, at UC Health, Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. Margaret was born to Anna Goble in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 10, 1968. At just two weeks old, she was lovingly adopted by David and Frances Lipp, who named her Margaret Ames Lipp.
A proud mother, Margaret lived a life defined by resilience, intelligence, and love. She attended Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado, before earning her GED and later achieving her B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Colorado State University in December 2000. At CSU, Margaret was deeply involved in the Black Student Services office, offering support and guidance to students navigating university life. She also worked in recruiting and administration for Boston University.
Margaret's career was a testament to her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to making a difference. She was a woman who faced life's challenges head-on with grace and determination, building a career that allowed her to help others and create a lasting impact. Above all, Margaret was fiercely devoted to her family, and she took great pride in being a mother. Her strength, intelligence, and beauty shone in everything she did.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Ashley Miales and Kimberly Thompson; sons, Andrew Lipp, Brandon Miales, and Avery Rollins; father, David Lipp; older brother, Jonathan Lipp; younger brother, Robert Lipp and grandchildren, Shania Montoya, Adonis Lipp, Odin Lipp, Adrion Miales, Amari Lipp, Charlotte Miales, Atlas Lipp, and Frankie Miales. She is also survived by her nieces, Reghan Lipp and Amani Lipp and nephew, JoJo aka Joziah Lipp.
She was preceded in death by her son, Frankie Miales, mother, Frances Lipp and her second husband, Tony Rollins.
