As a military spouse, Michael experienced living in multiple locations across the United States, as well as education and occupation changes to include his graduating from the Criminal Justice Academy of Osceola and later graduating from Kaiser College for Radiological Technology in which he spent the majority of employment period as an X-Ray, MRI and CAT Scan technician. While he and Marianne were living in Colorado, their son, Michael Patrick Egan, was born.
Michael engaged in several passions throughout his life, Formula One Racing, playing guitar, cooking, photography, art, stargazing, riding motorcycles, flying airplanes, watchmaking, leather working, and gunsmithing. He even freelanced as an extra and stand-in for television and movie productions such as “The Cape,” a 1996 series starring Corbin Bernsen, “From the Earth to The Moon,” a 1998 HBO miniseries produced by Tom Hanks, as well as the 1997 film “Contact” starring Jodie Foster. Michael had many interests and talents, and he loved to share his enjoyments with his family and friends.
Michael was an intelligent, funny and passionate man. He could learn how to do just about anything by watching how to do it once. He could make you laugh so hard that you would get the hiccups. He took great pride in everything he did.
