Robert Dallas Maxwell

On January 27, 2022, Robert Dallas Maxwell (Bob) of Loveland, Colorado, passed away at the age of 83 with family by his side. He was loved by his wife of 53 years, Jean (Linstrom) Maxwell and was blessed with daughters Jennifer Stefanacci, and her husband Alex, and Melanie Koppes, and her husband Chris and was immensely proud of his grandchildren, Emma Stefanacci, AJ Stefanacci, Audrey Koppes, Sammie Koppes and Sarah Koppes. He will also be greatly missed by his sister, Doris Maxwell.

Bob was born February 12, 1938 in Sterling, Colorado. He was the oldest of four children born to Walter and Edna (Downey) Maxwell. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1956. He joined the navy in October, 1958 serving four years as an electronics technician. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union 9, most of his working career as a project manager.

Bob and Jean enjoyed traveling, especially taking road trips. They enjoyed many adventures in their RV, traveling to Alaska, Maine, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Arizona, and many places in Colorado. They also went on several cruises, sharing time with family and friends. Bob was active in Family Camper’s and RV’s, enjoying over 20 years camping with friends in the RV Rascals. He had a wonderful workshop and built many beautiful wooden gifts for family and friends.

Bob will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who know and love him.
