Susan B. Steel passed away after a long and hard fought battle against cancer on the afternoon of 28 July 2022 at the age of 65. Susan was a native of beautiful Martha’s Vineyard, later becoming a resident of Colorado and settling down in Loveland.
Susan reluctantly left behind her loving husband of 47 years, Scott F. Steel. Susan is also survived by her two daughters Stephanie F. Bunker and Sarah M. Steel-Holderfield.
Susan was an avid book reader favoring the author Stephen King. While Susan never lost her love of reading horror and science fiction she also read most, if not all, books associated with Disneyland and Universal Studios. These places became her favorite places to visit, especially for the Halloween celebrations. Susan was planning to share these magical places with her favorite grandchildren; Remy, Adilynn, and Emmett, as soon as she had beaten the cancer. Her family will be ensuring this adventure is seen through.
You are invited to join Susan’s family for a celebration of life held at the Loveland Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) banquet hall on Saturday, August 13, 2022 beginning at 12:00pm until complete. The VFW is located at 305 N. Cleveland Ave, Loveland CO 80537
