Tim was born on February 18, 1957, to George and Margret Beagan in Syracuse, New York. After graduating from Westhill High School in 1976, Tim headed west to pursue his love of travel, new experiences, skiing, and never looked back. He settled in Steamboat Springs, Colorado where he perfected being a ski bum, met lifelong friends, and played rugby. Tim began his career in the beer business at B & K Distributing. He delivered beer, sold beer, drank a lot of it, and often showed up dressed as Spuds Mackenzie or other characters at local events.
Tim met his wife Camie (Cole) in 1987 and they married on September 17, 1988. Tim left his beloved Steamboat to support Camie’s career in Fort Collins while continuing in the beer industry. Eventually, he started his own business, Doctor Draught, in 2008 cleaning beer lines and installing beer systems and later transitioned to The Tap Guy only doing installs. These businesses thrived because of Tim’s expertise and his exceptional level of customer service.
Tim will be remembered for his love of life and extraordinarily positive outlook. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend. Tim loved skiing, being outdoors, photography, and was always on the go! Being an active dad was a priority and his family always came first. He coached little league soccer and was always yelling the loudest during the boys sporting events!
Tim was predeceased by his parents, George Beagan (brother), and Karen Middleton (sister). He is survived by his beloved wife Camie, dedicated sons Cole (Stephanie Beagan) and Tanner (Madalynn Schwartz).
Tim was the “Life of the party” and always made sure everyone had fun. He often expressed that “once I’m gone” he wants no tears, only joy and celebration. We will be raising a cup to Tim at Odell Brewing Company in Fort Collins on September 28th at 4:00. The family requests that in lieu of flowers you spend funds on something special with family or friends. Our time here is brief, so live it to the fullest, hold your loved ones close, and Cheers to Tim!
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.allnuttloveland.com for the Beagan family.
