Edward Thomas Dawson III passed away on December 26, 2012 in Clearlake. He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Violet Pickard; children, Kevin, Erwin, Samantha, Laura, Lake, Jade and Jada; grandchildren, Toselli, Katrina, Penelope, Zavanna, Paxton, David, Faith and Levi; one sister, Nancy. Born to Edward and Dorothy Dawson in Connecticut, he lived most of his life in California. In high school, Edward was a basketball star and won many awards. As he grew older, his love of basketball transitioned into a love of fishing. He spent 18 years fishing on Clear Lake and enjoyed every minute of it. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family, but they will always remember one of his favorite sayings; When you go, make sure you come home with good news.
