Lawrence Fredrick Henderson

Fred Henderson, 68, of Lower Lake, Ca. passed away on March 15, 2012 in his peaceful home of natural causes. Fred, who just celebrated his 68th birthday on February 12th is survived by his wife Dorothy “Skeeter” Henderson; two children: Son Bobby Henderson and daughter Joanie Girod. He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Brandon, Vicky and Sofia; multiple brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.

Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Camden and U.S.S. Midway during the Vietnam war. He received an honorable discharge after serving his country for 6 active years and 2 reserve years. After his time in the Navy, Fred went on to work for PG&E for 19 ½ years. Shortly after, he started his own business, Lake Technical Services. After retiring, Fred loved tinkering in his shop and spending quality time with family and friends at his beautiful ranch. A viewing will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clearlake on Wednesday March 21, 2012 at 10:00am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am.
