Patricia Arlene Donegan

Patricia Arlene Donegan passed away on September 18, 2016 in Cobb, CA, surrounded by her children, after battling cancer. Patricia was born and raised in San Francisco. She raised her children in Pacifica until moving to Sonoma and then on to Cobb Mountain. Patricia worked at Sonoma County Transit for 20 years, before her retirement. Patricia also worked at Los Guilicos Courts and Davis Cordage. She was also a hair dresser for many women in Pacifica. She was a wonderful artist, and an avid gardener. Patricia is survived by her five children, Michele Bush, Michael Tobin (Mary Lee), Cathy Sorden (John), Mark Tobin (Melodie), and Colleen Tobin; stepchildren, William Bender and Timothy Bender; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Mike and Sis Briones. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dennis and Beryl Donegan; sister, Nadine Calvert; husband, Robert Bender; and stepson, Matthew Bender. A celebration of life will be held at Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Citizens Against Homicide in Marin.
