

Adina Bolton, 74, of Lubbock, passed on to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, as a result of stroke complications.She was the bedrock of her family; and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
The Celebration of her Life will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010, at St. John Neumann Church, 5802 22nd Street, Lubbock, Tx 79407, immediately followed by graveside services at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2010, followed by a rosary service at 7:30 p.m., both at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Adina was born on March 31, 1936, in Slootdorp, Nertherlands, to the late Johannes Simon and Helena Alida (van Diepen) Roozendaal. Adina and her family lived through WWII in the Netherlands and then emigrated to Canada in March of 1951. Adina married Victor Bolton on June 27, 1959 in Duncan, British Columbia, Cananda. Adina and Victor moved to Texas where they owned and operated dry cleaners for over 50 years, the last 24 of which were in Lubbock as Brite Way Cleaners. Adina maintained strong relationships with the employees, customers, and vendors of Brite Way until her passing.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 51 years, Victor; three daughters: Dianne Bolton of San Antonio, Tx, Anita Suson of Houston, Tx, and Vicky Goodrum and her husband, Richard, of Scottsdale, Az; two sons: Richard Bolton and his wife, Terri, of Flint, Tx, and Victor J. Bolton, and his husband, Greg, of Houston, Tx; seven grandchildren: Daniel Bolton, and his wife, Elena, Amanda Bolton, Kathleen Bolton, Mitchel Suson, Brian Suson, Lee Goodrum, and Jon Goodrum; five sisters: Ann van Elst of Az, and Margaret Coppens, Mary Wynans, Helen Roozendaal, and Johanna Hagen, all of British Columbia, Canada; and numerous extended family members.
Memorials are suggested to St. John Neumann Church.
