Albert Lehman Rodgers, age 82, went to be with the Lord on July 03, 2016. He was born April 04, 1934 to the late Nathan and Alma Rodgers, in Lynn County, Texas. He married Margie Marie Owens on June 2, 1956 in Wilson, Texas by Bro. Hank Scott.
After graduating high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Army as a letter carrier. Later, he worked as a milkman for Bell Dairy for 11 years; eventually he began selling insurance for National Life and Accident Insurance Company; it changed names to American General Life Insurance Company, on the east side of town, until he retired in 1998.
He was a faithful member at Bacon Heights Baptist Church. He was a faithful servant to the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his wife Margie Marie Owens and his siblings, Neoma Peterson and Robert Rodgers.
He is survived by his children, Lynda Britt, Lois (Lewis) Treadwell , Laura Rodgers, Eldon (Darla) Rodgers; grandchildren, Cassie, Danielle, Leigh, Travis (Elizabeth), Rebecca, LaVoe, Jayla and many close friends he considered family.
