Alessandrina was born on January 13th, 1936, in Bucharest, Romania. She was the middle child of seven children. Her family settled in Udine, Italy, where she met the love of her life, Ronald James Littrell, a soldier in the United States Air Force.
She dedicated her life to her husband and the United States Air Force. They lived in multiple places, but she was committed to raising her children and providing the best life possible for them.
Alessandrina is predeceased by her mother, Florica Petrescu Zara, her father, Antonio Zara, her siblings Giovanni Zara, Demetrio Zara, Elda Zara, and Alfredo Zara.
Alessandrina is survived by her daughter, Grazia Maria Littrell and her son Mark Linn Littrell, as well as her brother Victorio Zara and sister Elena Zara. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great children and great-great grandchildren.
Our mother enjoyed music, knitting, and most importantly she loved planting and nurturing her flowers. She had the most beautiful garden with the most exquisite flowers possible. While her day job was in retail, she really enjoyed gardening.
She was forever dedicated to her Roman Catholic roots and did her best to instill those ideals in her children. Anyone that knew Alessandrina knew that she always put family first and believed wholeheartedly in her faith. She was a fantastic mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her role in life and helped others to love theirs as well by instilling ability, strength, and love. We are much stronger for it. She will greatly be missed by all.
