Alicia Y. Saldaña

Alicia Saldaña, affectionately known as 'Nana' by her beloved grandchildren, passed away peacefully on Monday September 22, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories. She was surrounded by her devoted family during her final moments, a testament to the deep bond she shared with those she held dear. Nana’s kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith will continue to guide her family for generations to come. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Alicia Saldaña was born on September 12th, 1952, in Laredo, Texas to Pablo and Maria Mojica. She was raised in Heckville, Texas, where she became known for her strong faith and commitment to prayer. Alicia married Ronnie in 1976 and shared 48 loving years together, building a life centered around family and Christ.

Alicia is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Saldana; her sister, Diana Martinez; her son, Paul Saldana (Rosa); daughters Alicia Henson (Tyler) and Marie Flores (Rex); and her grandchildren Ethan Saldaña, Makaila Flores, Mia Flores, Luke Saldaña, Julianna Saldaña, Miriam Henson, Malachi Flores, Micah Flores, and Vivian Henson. She is preceded in death by her parents Pablo and Maria Mojica, her sister Rosalinda Salazar, and her cousin-brother Luis Ruiz. Alicia’s faith was the cornerstone of her life, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace with the Lord.
