Alla Deen Knadle was born on January 13, 1926, in Bonanza, Arkansas to Clarence and Esther Carlile. She graduated from Sharyland High School and received a BA degree from North Texas State University. She taught in the Throckmorton, Mission, and Sharyland schools. She married Charles Knadle, also a Sharyland native, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a Past Matron and Life Member of the Edinburg Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a dual and an endowed member of the Lewisville Chapter OES. She was also a 50-year member of the Order.
Surviving are her daughters Becky Knadle and Kathy Gillespie (husband James), her grandchildren Jason Martinez (wife Lesley), Brandon Martinez (wife Amy), Robert Gillespie (wife Dawna), and Brenda Hill (husband Logan), and her 6 great-grandchildren.
A family graveside service was held at Resthaven Memorial Park.
