Allan Wade Grizzell

Allan attended Roosevelt High School and spent his life working with his hands and heart. He began his career as a mechanic at Bill Reese Auto. Later, he joined his parents at Wilkison Radiator Shop. In the later years of his career, Allan worked at All American in Slaton, where he continued to apply his mechanical expertise.

Beyond his professional life, Allan found joy in simple pleasures—especially working on cars and BBQ's with family.

Allan is lovingly remembered by his son, Jody Grizzell and wife Breann; grandchildren Eva Jo, Eliza, and Rowan Grizzell; sister Rhonda Allen; brother Mark Grizzell; stepchildren Jerry Lovell, Tasha Lovell, and Whispher Hunter; and many nieces and nephews including Jenifer, Jenny, Joseph, Lindsay, Michael Todd, Amy Brose, Sara Grizzell, Laci Landry, Nick Allen, and Danielle Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Virginia Grizzell; grandparents Gene and Edna Stark and Arthur and Thelma Grizzell; brother Larry Don Grizzell; and nephew Christopher Grizzell.

A celebration of life will be held on January 2, 2025, at 2 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home in the Abbey Chapel.
