Alma Marie Albright, 101, passed away Tuesday July 1, 2014 in Lubbock. She was born April 6, 1913 in Dallas, TX to Henry and Leona Curry. Marie was a member of the Vienna Buckner Chapter #888 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church Lubbock and a former member of 1st Baptist Church in Urbandale, TX.
She is survived by a cousin, Janiece Green of Mesquite, TX; friends Joy, Dan and Justin McDowell of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Helois Eubanks and Geraldine Curry and a brother, Douglas Curry.
A graveside service will be held today, July 3, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are being arranged by Resthaven Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to 1st Baptist Church, Lubbock, Library Fund. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com
