She graduated from Clinton High School, Clinton Massachusetts in 1960. She married her long tall Texan, Jerry on April 30, 1965.
She is survived by her sister Elaine (Bill) Wallin of Jefferson Massachusetts, her daughter Denise Leavelle of Clovis New Mexico, and son Dennis Leavelle of Lubbock. Her grandchildren Nicholas Leavelle (Jessica) of Fayetteville North Carolina, Dillon Leavelle, DeAnna Leavelle and Danielle Leavelle of Shallowater, Macye (Tim) Goudeaux of Oklahoma and Matthew Graham of Garland; and her great-grandchildren Jade Leavelle and Hayden Salas of Arizona, Gunner Leavelle of Lubbock and Carly Goudeaux of Oklahoma
She is preceded in death by her husband, mother and father.
She was born February 24th, 1943 in Clinton Massachusetts to Warren and Flora Hobby.
Bea worked as an administrative specialist at Ft Devens, Worcester Massachusetts where she met the love of her life. She worked as punch key operator and transcriptionist at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock Texas before retiring in 1996 after 37 years of civil service.
Bea was an avid square and round dancer as well as a clogger. She started dancing in 1979 with Stardusters and Cotton Country Cloggers. Other clubs she was a member of or co-founded were Serratas, Barbour Shoppers, Happy Hearts (became the dance leader), Merry Mixers and Rainbow Riders. Bea and her long tall Texan were on staff at Kirkwood Lodge, Kirkwood Missouri and Fun Valley Colorado, where she became a ballroom dancer/instructor. During their first ever ballroom competition in Las Vegas, Nevada she and her groom took 1st Place in overall and spotlight. Bea and her husband danced in California, Colorado, Missouri, New Mexico, Massachusetts, and Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel.
