Bienvenido "Bien" Oquias Pia went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2013. Bien was born July 13, 1948 to Jacinto and Adela Pia in Manila, Philippines. He married Janet Pia July 14,1980 and have been best friends for 33 years. Bien is survived by Janet, his son Joshua Pia and wife Shahanni Haron; his daughter Joanna Grace Pia-Orona and husband Michael Orona; and two granddaughters, Ava Yuri Pia and Olivia Pia Orona.
Bien is also survived by sisters from Auckland, New Zealand, Lolita Pia Young and husband Patrick Young; and Dorotea Pia Morgan . And brother, Jacinto Pia Jr. and wife Maria Louisa Pia from Seattle, Washington; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 in Resthaven's Chapel. A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 10, at Resthaven Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com.
