
Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. .
Bobby was born on December 17, 1934, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Dewey and Eva (DeMoss) Scott. He served in the US Army Signal Corps from 1953 to 1958. He did many things throughout his life including being a baker, roofer, maintenance, and a cook. Bobby loved to bake and kept family friends supplied with baked goods.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Scott and three brothers: Paul Scott, Dewey (Junior) Scott, and Bill Scott.
Those left to cherish his memories include two daughters: Linda Wilhite and husband Jim of Clovis, and Joy Newbold and husband John of San Antonio; grandson, Joshua Newbold and wife Sunyoung; granddaughter, Phyllis Anne Newbold of San Antonio; great granddaughter, Tatiana Newbold; three sisters: Wanda Totten and husband Phillip of Port Charlotte, Florida, Sue Conard and husband Jerry of Lewisville, Texas, and Helen Eyre and husband Bill of Sullivan, Indiana; and a brother, Bud J. Scott and wife Barbara of Hymera, Indiana.
